Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul

The reliability of the power generation process will depend heavily on the reliability of the system installations that support it. One such system installation is the coal handling system, which is a system for handling coal as fuel for a coal-fired power plant (CFPP), starting from unloading coal from the coal barge to the stockpile and moving it until the coal is ready for use in the furnace. In general, the coal handling system installation includes various facilities, namely unloading, stockpiling and dredging, transfer, and temporary storage before combustion. Ash is a waste product of the coal-fired power plant (CFPP) as a result of the combustion process. Ash must be captured and separated from the combustion gases to prevent environmental pollution. Common terminology for coal ash is fly ash (light fly ash) and bottom ash (heavy ash). We provide several equipment for bottom ash handling installations, such as submerged scrapper conveyors (SSC), clinker grinders, belt conveyors, bottom ash silos, disposal transportation, and water cycles. Meanwhile, for equipment in the fly ash handling installation, we provide electrostatic precipitators, hoppers, vacuum blowers, fly ash silos, and fly ash transportation. Supported by competent and experienced technicians and mechanics, the overhaul program aims to help customers reduce the cost of repairs and damage to a system, while ensuring that the system always has optimal performance.

Operation & Maintenance

Operation and maintenance services of power generation units are the core business of PLN Nusantara Power Services which has been built through partnerships with customers since 20 years ago. The company has managed 54 power plants and industrial utilities, consisting of SPP (Steam Power Plant), GPP (Gas Power Plant), HEPP (Hydroelectric Power Plant), GEPP (Gas Engine Power Plant), SGEPP (Steam Gas Engine Power Plant), DPP (Diesel Power Plant), and MHPP (Micro Hydro Power Plant) which are managed with a total O&M Capacity of 7,113.7 MW.
