In supporting global efforts to achieve Net Zero Emissions by 2060,

as the largest GenCo in Indonesia, PLN NP has been entrusted with developing over 6.3 GW of renewable energy power plants across the nation and pioneering the construction of various types of renewable energy plants that have never been developed before.

As a trailblazer in sustainable power generation, PLN NP presents its Green Flagship Projects as a tangible commitment to clean and environmentally friendly energy. These flagship initiatives are designed to support the energy transition, reduce carbon emissions, and create a greener future for Indonesia.

Karangkates Floating PV

PLN Nusantara Power, through PLN Nusantara Renewables (PLN NR), is spearheading the development of renewable energy plants to accelerate Indonesia's energy transition and increase clean energy capacity.

Tembesi Batam Floating PV

The Tembesi Batam Floating SPP is the first power plant in Batam and the largest in Sumatera, strategically built on the Tembesi Reservoir.

IKN Nusantara SPP

The IKN Solar Power Plant is part of a National Strategic Program situated in a region with the highest solar irradiation levels. It is set to be a cornerstone of electricity supply for the IKN area.

Batang Toru HPP

The Batang Toru Hydroelectric Power Plant is designed to harness the potential of water resources to support domestic electricity needs sustainably.

Sumbagsel 1 CFPP

The Sumbagsel 1 Power Plant is developed to support the government's program of utilizing local resources to bolster the South Sumatra electricity system.

De-Dieselisasi Project

The Diesel Decommissioning (De-Dieselisasi) program gradually transitions Diesel Power Plants (PLTD) in isolated regions to hybrid systems that utilize renewable energy from Solar Power Plants (SPP).

Tanah Laut 70MW WPP

The Tanah Laut Wind Power Plant (WPP) is equipped with a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), a groundbreaking innovation by PLN Group and its partners to address the intermittency of renewable energy generation.
